The Chris Branham Memorial Foundation was established in 2021 to celebrate Christopher's life and give back to the community through his everlasting memory. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit under the Central Texas Community Foundation, aka, the Greater RR Community Foundation. Donations are tax deductible.
Christopher Thomas Branham was born on October 14, 1993 and entered God’s Kingdom on June 24, 2020. He grew up in Round Rock, Texas, and was fortunate to have had many great opportunities in his life. Chris traveled to a dozen countries, played competitive baseball, and excelled at golf and several other sports. He attended a trade school after graduating from Stony Point High School, became a small business owner at 23 years of age, got married, and was a young father of two. Tragedy struck the Branham family on June 24, 2020, as Chris’ life was cut short that day, at the hands of others. It was not until 37 days after his life was taken that he was found, after extensive searches by family, friends, law enforcement, and professional search organizations. This was, and still is, a devastating loss for his parents, Jim & Conny, Chris’ very young children, and his sister Monica, who was his best friend. The amazing people from Round Rock, Hutto, and surrounding communities came together and embraced the Branhams with love, support, many prayers, and an incredible number of offers to help search for Chris. This will never be forgotten. To celebrate his memory, and to give back to the community, the family, together with close friends, have established a charity under the umbrella of the Central Texas Community Foundation to raise funds for causes that were important to Chris. These causes are focused on trade school scholarships for local high school graduates and financial support for local youth baseball organizations to benefit children who need assistance to have the ability to participate. In addition, having experienced first-hand what is all involved in ground, water, and air searches for the missing, and how incredibly important this work is, we also donate to all-volunteer Search & Rescue Organizations.
The foundation gratefully accepts Silent Auction Items or services from local businesses and individuals and uses funds raised to give back to the community, with the focus on supporting causes that were important to Chris. The auction will be live and online. If you know of any business that would like to help support our causes, please connect them with us.
Our 5th Annual Chris Branham Memorial Tournament will be held on October 10, 2025 at Forest Creek Golf Club in Round Rock, Texas. Thanks to the generosity of friends, family, and the local community the foundation is able to give back and support causes Christopher was passionate about. His picture above says it all. The family is forever grateful.
